Don Chesser and I met through Opera Rara. Don was a life long friend of Don White the creative advertising director and librettist, who with Patric Schmid founded Opera Rara. Their common ground professionally was the advertising world.

Don Chesser always wanted to take pictures of performers especially ballet. and through the connection with Opera Rara Steven and Don began a creative friendship, which has involved calendars, record covers and many other visual projects

Although Don was mainly a commercial photographer for many years his artistry is second to none. All the Studio photographs on this site are by Don Chesser.
